A network of small, cold storage facilities is the next big thing in Japan’s cold storage and logistics sector. The strategic placement of facilities along the route to the destination will reduce shipping time, decrease costs, and enable transportation of food items and medicines without loss.

Cold Storage Japan is pioneering this change with two innovative cold storage solutions—the Coldstorage Box and the Coldstorage Box Portable.

Coldstorage Box is a container-type facility designed to comply with building permit applications. It can be used to construct small-scale food processing facilities, providing a convenient solution for businesses needing on-site storage space for perishable goods.

Coldstorage Box Portable is a trailer-type cold storage unit that can be towed without requiring a driver with a CDL. It functions as a fully operational mobile cold storage facility. This feature makes it ideal for transporting medicines, vegetables, and while maintaining the required temperature.
