THANK YOU FOR SUBSCRIBING
We do not believe in group emails whereby customers are always represented by a different logistics specialist each time they conduct business with WFS. As part of our synergistic approach with customers, they have direct contacts throughout the entire transaction, domestic movements, forwarding sales, booking acquisition, logistics / transloading supply chain planning, documentation, and invoicing.
We do not believe in placing our customers in a cue whereby the standard reply has become adding another party to the chain of the email and keeping the transaction in limbo. We understand that information is crucial and strive to keep our customers always informed.
Moreover, our lean at the top strategy means that customers and partners can also expect prompt action, as we have tremendously reduced the red tape that can plague some organizations. We fully understand that our partners need to focus on trading and rely on quick, efficient, and accurate market intelligence and supply chain viability from our organization in due haste.
But what really sets us apart is the flexibility we can offer and the synergies we have created within the Canadian supply chain.
From a Quebec vantage point, DG Canest Transit is one of a kind in the handling of agricultural goods from a Canadian vantage point.
Boasting 91 silos and a total of 68,000 MT of bulk storage capacity, shippers can move their commodities knowing that they are protected from the elements of mother nature, irrespective of the availability of containers. This flexibility also equates that the customers can rely on the most cost-effective solutions available in the marketplace from the shipping lines, therefore they avoid the pitfall of surprise costs that are not factored in.
Additionally, as our operations for bulk to bulk and bag to bag are segregated, consequently, we avoid the pitfalls of rail embargoes through careful and attentive pipeline planning to avoid over-committing to our loyal customers.
Our network spans from coast to coast thereby creating a one-stop shop for our customers. Most Canadian supply chain companies specialize in a certain facet of the supply chain in relations to the movement of agricultural commodities. Our organization has taken on the feat of making sure that we cover the entire spectrum of the supply chain solution with an ever-growing network to cover all our customers’ needs. From rail, to land, to sea, our collaborations are well-developed to make sure that our customers can rely on our market intelligence to not only create but execute the supply chain seamlessly. We are well positioned to educate customers on their most cost-effective solutions (inland freight, freight forwarding, transloading service, source load service) and viability of each of those services so they can structure their trades in accordance with a reliable supply chain. This allows our customers to turn their focus to trading the goods and leaving the execution in our hands.
From domestic movement to transloading the goods, to shipping to final destinations in the international market, we make it simple and stand by our slogan of Supply Chain Solutions Simplified. These are not just words to WFS, it is our goal. It is our passion.
To micro-manage the various quanta of expectations, while also offering excellence in customer service, we need to make sure that communication is at the forefront of our service offerings. This is only possible through the strong relationships and synergies we have created with our network of shipping lines, rail providers, dray companies and transloaders. Without these synergies and creating mutually beneficial relationships, WFS would not be able to move the supply chain forward. It truly is a joint venture of cooperation, a sense of partnership, all for the betterment of the movement of goods while simultaneously offering our loyal customer base additional options, transparency, and creative supply chain solutions.
Consequently, in a short amount of time, we have been able to become a market leader in the movement of agricultural goods. An organization that above and beyond revenues and growth, appreciates and is humble by the trust that has been bestowed upon us by the Canadian Supply Chain. Now that we have had ample time to grow our network, we want to take this collective experience and share it with the rest of Canada. Diversification is at the forefront of the future for WFS. Strategically, we want to tackle the rest of Canada and continue to make a difference.
But ultimately what really set us apart is rather simple in notion but much more complex in execution:
We care!
We listen!
We want to help!
We want to make a difference!
