THANK YOU FOR SUBSCRIBING
This is where QuickBox Fulfillment steps in. They cater to growing omnichannel, e-commerce, and B2B brands that are in the beauty, health & wellness, pet wellness, and CPG spaces. Many of the brands they work with have scaled alongside QuickBox to launch into retail stores including Sephora, Target, CVS, to name a few.
QuickBox is an operations-focused 3PL, led by an industry leading executive team that brings over 100 years of combined experience from some of the nation’s largest and most well-known 3PLs. Their backgrounds involve delivering solutions and top-notch service to enterprise brands like Apple, Leap Frog, and Dell.
“We have the capability to ensure operational excellence like any industry behemoth, but with the customer support of a mom and pop. We have boots on the ground for support, and clients can access our C-staff,” says Irene Scharmack, CEO, QuickBox.
Clients at QuickBox have the opportunity to connect directly to these key individuals, including top executives like Scharmack, Ron Jarvis, COO, and Brennen McMullin, CFO, for operational and shipping-related queries. This accessibility and willingness to engage directly with clients showcases an ‘approachable C-suite’ mentality, cementing its commitment to addressing concerns and resolving issues at all levels of the organization.
QuickBox, nowadays, is well-known in the industry for their dedication to continuous improvement and the ability to create out-of-the-box, scalable, bespoke solutions for brands they support.
A Team of Great Operators Using Technology to Improve Operations and Client Service
Today, e-commerce constitutes approximately 75 percent of QuickBox’s business while also supporting brands in their expansion into other channels such as retail, wholesale, and Amazon. This level of service is crucial to meet clients where they are and address their evolving requirements. More importantly, the company has built the technology bandwidth to deliver services without any friction.
QuickBox iQ, their in-house developed order management system, is a testament to the company’s investment in technology. This tool allows for efficient order management, cancellation, and automation using granular rule-based settings – a feature that historically required outsourced engineers and backend coding. The company, at the same time, uses an warehouse management system for visibility across various sites and inventory statuses, facilitating better decision-making on shippable and quarantined goods.
Scharmack’s immense experience and understanding of the 3PL industry have played a pivotal role in building QuickBox’s tech expertise. Under her leadership, the company embraces a philosophy of enhancing client operations and demonstrating tangible value by acting as an extension of their brands.
“At the end of the day, we are best in class operators that know how to get products to the end customer and manage labor correctly,” Scharmack adds.
The Team Leading the Show
QuickBox doesn’t believe in standardization; the company crafts high-quality, customized solutions for every brand. This is made possible by its highly functional and expert team that is always on their toes to serve clients.
The wealth of experience within the executive team enables QuickBox to deliver operational excellence comparable to major players in the industry without isolating their clients to feeling like ‘just another brand’.
The company’s focus on continuous improvement is a core component of their mission. It reflects QuickBox’s determination to challenge the “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mentality and continue making ahead of the curve improvements in strategy, processes, and everyday tasks resulting in a more significant overall improvement.
QuickBox organizes Kaizen (the Japanese word for continuous improvement) events with warehouse and associates and operational executives every month to identify areas to improve. This is more than a mental practice; the goal is to remove anything that acts a roadblock, and turn inefficiencies into strengths.
The company also conducts regular meetings with clients and internal teams to decipher the best ways for optimization and cost saving while ensuring absolute onsite support from industry experts.
A Testament to Excellence
The QuickBox team has crafted numerous instances of client success across the nation. QuickBox’s locations include Denver, CO; Los Angeles, CA; Atlanta, GA; Wayne, NJ, and Miami, FL. The company has invested in the facilities to bring latest technology and automation and have expanded its footprint to continue supporting clients with more efficiency.
“The expansion isn't just about physical spaces; it's a comprehensive strategy that integrates additional Value-Added Services (VAS) tailored to meet the demands of clients. Our customized solutions are designed to provide unparalleled support and efficiency to our brands, ensuring their products reach consumers swiftly and efficiently,” says Scharmack.
The story of a top-tier client is a true testament to QuickBox’s capabilities. The single-site client in wanted to establish bi-coastal distribution nodes to reach their clients faster and reduce postage costs. However, managing inventory across multiple sites became a challenge, including split shipments and escalated shipping costs. Working in liaison with the client, QuickBox devised a postage solution, centralizing their inventory in Denver while maintaining the appearance of a bi-coastal operation through a daily dual line haul to Las Vegas and Chicago. This strategic move cut down on split shipments and reduced inventory carrying costs.
QuickBox has provided solutions in many instances based on its commitment to excellence, robust tech stack, and a team that never yields before pressure. In the coming years, the company will continue reaching new heights and serving clients even more efficiently than they are today while staying true to being fast, friendly, and accurate.
